JUST
GET OUT, FATSO, TEACHER TELLS PUPIL
A schoolboy burst into tears after his teacher called him ‘fatso’.
Mark Ghezali, 12, wept when maths teacher Adrian Kay insulted him when
he disrupted a lesson and refused to leave the class. His mother,
Jillian, 42 claims he was then labelled a ‘cry-baby’ by Mr Kay. John
Hallworth, head of Thornhill School, in Sunderland, admitted there was
a ‘single unguarded remark’ and, along with Mr Kay, offered to
apologise. But Mrs Ghezali said the teacher should be disciplined for
the distress he caused her son, who at 63kg (10st) struggles with his
weight.
She added: ‘This will stay with him for the rest of his life.’
