Solar Sunshades Limited

Over the recent years Solar Sunshades has grown by acquisition to become one of the largest window blind manufacturers in UK. They now employ over thirty people, across two sites, with approximately half of the team involved in production. HR2all has provided support to Solar Sunshades over the past six years.

Steve Mullis, HR & Finance Manager says: "Our company appointed HR2all in 2004 to update our employees’ contracts, create a staff handbook and introduce a fully documented Health and Safety regime for its head office. This followed a rapid expansion of the numbers and types of staff we employ, and the major changes in Employment Law in the previous year or so.
HR2all staff spent time getting to understand our company’s employment structure and requirements in order to produce a number of templates, which were then used to produce the final employment contracts. Similarly we went through a process of adapting a model staff handbook to suit our company’s needs. Our Health and Safety policy was produced very promptly and efficiently, and a Health and Safety premises audit was also undertaken soon after we appointed the company.

Throughout this whole process the HR2ALL staff were always able and willing to respond to our requirements promptly and efficiently, and to accommodate several management-requested changes after we had thought matters had been finalised. The website-based system is very simple to navigate and can easily be used to create new types of documents as required.
We have used the legal helpline on only 2 or 3 occasions, but have found it easy to access and the quality and form of advice given to be excellent.

We found the staff of HR2all to be friendly, helpful and courteous at all times, and able to respond quickly and efficiently to meet our requirements. The use of e-mails to send draft documents for review and amendment greatly speeded up what could have been a long process, but HR2ALL were always willing to accommodate face-to-face meetings when we wanted them.

In terms of costs, we believe HRall have provided excellent value-for-money compared with other companies we approached at the time for a similar service."

Spadel UK

Spadel UK is a 7m turnover company and a branch of Monopole, a 200m turnover independent Belgian company. They bottle mineral water in several countries, and supply both own label and branded products (for example Brecon Carreg) to retail & foodservice sectors. Spadel UK has been a client of HR2all since 2005.

ExpressHR consists of a group of three companies - ExpressHR Services, Woodcote Software and Voyager Software – which in turn have from 2 to 25 employees. Their team comprises mainly software developers and they provide tools for the recruitment industry. ExpressHR have been HR2all clients since 2003.
